Color decisions

Plan contrast before chasing an exact screen match

Screens and yarn reflect color differently. Treat the generated palette as a map, then set each swatch to the closest yarn available under the light where you crochet.

Adjacent colors with similar lightness can lose a small motif even when their hues differ. A grayscale photo of your yarn choices is a quick way to compare contrast before starting the project.
